Mother’s selflessness

After the earthquake in Japan lifesaving group reached that part of destruction where the young woman remained. They found a corpse of the woman in the ruins. Her position was interesting. She was on knees and seemed to hold something. The head of the group tried to get her. Unfortunately she was dead. When group was thinking to channel on other parts of destruction, the head of the group looked lower the corpse and shouted: “A baby, there is a baby.”

After some working they rescued 3 months old baby wrapped in a blanket. Baby was sleeping. Woman made herself a shield with her last attempt.

When lifesaving group opened the blanket, they had found a mobile phone. There was a text message on its screen:

“If you were rescued, don’t forget that I love you”

Deputy of European parliament: “Armenia occupied Azerbaijani lands with the help of Russia”

Deputy of European parliament: “Armenia occupied Azerbaijani lands with the help of Russia”

The member of foreign affairs committee of European parliament Ivo Vajgl during his visit to Azerbaijan was in Aghdam.

The guest after the meeting with officials of district visited the refugee school number 18 and was interested in the conditions of school and the level of education.

Ivo Vajgl who was answering the questions of journalists stated that whole world knows that Armenia occupied Azerbaijani lands: “The returning to their homeland of people who inhabited this settlement and all other people who spend refugee life as well is inevitable. It’s not only the problem of refugees, it’s the problem of all of us, the problem of humanity.”

The guest said that he doesn’t consider the activity of the OSCE Minsk group satisfactory: “All the co-chairs of OSCE Minsk group are professional diplomats. However there are some nuances which require more responsibility than their competency. Affair must be discussed in more wide frame. I think that European Union must participate closely in the solution of this problem. All we know that the solution of this conflict is very hard. However by the active participation of all the interested sides, it is possible to acquire the positive conclusion.”

I.Vajgl considers that USA and Russia must be in an active attitude in the solution of this conflict: “Because exactly by the help of Russia Armenia occupied Azerbaijani lands and doesn’t want to leave these areas.”

A shark in your brain

Japanese people like to eat fresh fish. However it’s not an easy job to find so much fishes near Japanese coasts. Accordingly fishermen began to sail to huge distances by making big boats. As this took a lot time, they came with stale fishes. They made cold store-rooms in their boats to solve this problem.

Now they were able to sail over distances and to fish as much as they want. But tastes of fresh fish and frozen fish were not the same.

At this time fishermen made big aquariums in their boats. Even though fishes didn’t feel as they felt in a sea, they would reach the coast safely. But these didn’t replace fresh fishes for the Japanese. Fishermen again began to think about carrying the fresh fish.

And eventually they had found what they were seeking. How? Simply. They put a shark into the aquarium. Though shark ate some of the fishes, others remained lively and alive…

It is understandable by this example that people should come close to problems rather than running away from them. Try to recognize and subordinate your problems. Be decisive. Struggle with your problems. Throw a shark into your brain. You would see what you are capable of.

Expectations and foretaste

One of the most prominent Sheikhs of all time once said:

-  I always set a goal to disappoint those who wanted to be my apprentices. I always was late to meetings. I was lazy and forgetful. I had a custom not to do, even though I had promised to demonstrate some exercises or to share some secrets.

And now let’s just look what would be if I matched the expectations of apprentices. Apprentice would be so satisfied of the confidence of themselves – that they are given something that others are deprived of – that this confidence would merely increase their pride.

Those who survived the disappointment like this and didn’t leave, become able to feel the motion of pride on themselves. Disappointment can’t exist without the existence of expectations. On the Sufism way all the expectations are being destroyed: “Foretaste of apricot moderates the influence of its real taste.”

Christopher Hampton To Pen Movie Adaptation of Novel ‘Ali & Nino’

Producer Kris Thykier’s PeaPie Films banner snaps up movie rights to book.

LONDON – Oscar winning scribe Christopher Hampton is penning a big screen adaptation of novel Ali & Nino, by Kurban Said.

British production banner PeaPie Films, headed by producer Kris Thykier, has snapped up the movie rights to the book and will produce.

Said’s epic love story is one of the most original works of 20th literature and since its initial publication in 1937, it has been translated into 33 languages worldwide with nearly 100 reprints.

Thykier, whose producer resume boasts StardustKick-Ass, Harry Brown, The Debt and the Madonna directed W.E., will produce with Leyla Aliyeva serving as executive producer.

Ali Khan and Nino Kipiani live in Baku, the cosmopolitan, oil-rich capital of Azerbaijan which, at the beginning of the twentieth century, is a melting-pot of different cultures. Ali is a Muslim and Nino is a Christian Georgian girl with sophisticated European ways. Despite their differences, the two have loved each other since childhood and Ali is determined that he will marry Nino as soon as she leaves school.

Hampton secured an Academy Award in 1988 for his adaptation of his own play Dangerous Liaisons.

Hampton said: “From the moment I read the book I fell in love with this story which is beautifully written and in many ways as relevant and resonant now as it was when it was first published.”
